This scholarship aims to support high school seniors who are facing the unique challenges of living with epilepsy. It is dedicated to empowering local graduating seniors, ensuring that they not only pursue their educational aspirations but also thrive in their personal and community endeavors.

We at Eric’s Corner believe that education can be a transformative power in people’s lives. Our aim is to provide support to those who are living with epilepsy and to create a community where everyone’s potential is realized and celebrated. The scholarship we offer is a symbol of our commitment to creating opportunities for growth, learning, and positive impact within our community.

We are delighted to offer the “Eric’s Corner ‘Living with Epilepsy’ Scholarship” for high school seniors living with epilepsy. Follow these simple steps to apply:

  • Download the Application Form: Click the button to download the scholarship application form as a PDF.
  • Read the Requirements: Carefully read through the minimum qualifications and instructions provided in the PDF to ensure you meet all the criteria for the scholarship.
  • Complete the Application: Fill in all the required sections of the application form. This includes your contact information, school details, awards and activities, work experience, references, and information about your seizure disorder.
  • Prepare Additional Documents:
    • Obtain a statement from your physician confirming your diagnosis of epilepsy.
    • Gather proof of your intent to attend a post-secondary academic or vocational program.
    • Include your high school transcript showing your GPA.
    • Write a personal statement (minimum 300 words) detailing your goals, how epilepsy has influenced your life, and your experiences in overcoming adversity.
  • Attach a Letter of Reference: Remember to include one letter of reference with your application (relatives should not be used as references).
  • Submit Before the Deadline: Ensure you complete and email your application by April 15, 2025, to eric@ericscorner.org, or mail it to the provided address. Make sure to include all the necessary documents.
